Submit your request

  • Go to the My supplies section of the Private Area. Sign up!
  • We will ask you for the following information:
    • Personal details (name, ID no., email, telephone no.)
    • Details of the type of installation
    • Details of the location (name, land registry reference, power)
  • Send us the documents we specify.
  • Remember that the request process will only be valid if your request meets the legal requirements at all times.
  • Don’t forget that you should open the request at a point with sufficient generation access capacity. Find out the capacity here.

We will send you a proposal with the financial terms

  • When we validate the documentation, we will assess the request, taking into account the features of your installation.
  • Don’t forget that your installation must comply with the legislation, regulations and technical documentation in force.
  • We’ll send you the proposal.
  • We’ll send you the financial terms.
  • If requested, you can make the payment.
  • In some cases, we may need to ask you for the following documentation before reviewing your installation:
    • The EIC
    • The 59N check report (for Medium Voltages).
    • The connection request
  • Access and connection authorisations are granted once the technical conditions have been accepted.

We connect you

  • Once we’ve reviewed your installation, you can get connected.
  • Don’t forget that you will need to process:
    • the technical contract with UFD or your distributor.
    • the access agreement with your supply company.

  • Accede al apartado Mis suministros del Área Privada. ¡Regístrate!
  • Te pediremos los siguientes datos:
    • Personales (nombre, NIF, correo electrónico, teléfono)
    • Datos del tipo de instalación
    • Datos de la central (nombre, referencia catastral, potencia)
  • Envíanos los documentos que te especificamos.
    • En caso de que la instalación lo requiera según la legislación actual, Red Eléctrica de España nos tiene que confirmar el acceso a la red de transporte.
  • Recuerda que para que el proceso de solicitud sea válido, la solicitud debe ajustarse en todo momento a los requisitos legales.
  • No olvides abrir tu solicitud en un punto que cuente con capacidad suficiente de acceso para generación. Consulta la capacidad aquí

We connect you

  • When the works are completed, we will review the measurement installation and give you the Universal Supply Point Code.
  • Contact the supply company you choose and sign the auxiliary services contract. You can find a list of supply companies at www.cnmc.es

Request a generation connection

Please note that...

RDL 23/2020 has established an expiry mechanism for projects that have already been granted access and connection permits.

If your project has already been granted these permits, you can check the issue date in your private section and carry out all the necessary processes.

Remember too that you will need to meet the requirements and obligations established in current legislation to connect your facility.

Applicable legislation

  • Royal Decree 1699/2011applies to:
    • All low-voltage technologies with a capacity of up to 100 kW
    • Cogeneration, biogas and biomass up to 1,000 MW and with a voltage of up to 36 kV
  • Royal Decree 413/2014applies to:
    • All technologies with a capacity of over 100 kW, or with a capacity of less than 100 kW and a voltage of over 1 kV (except for cogeneration, biogas and biomass)
    • Cogeneration, biogas and biomass of over 1,000 MW or voltage of over 36 kV
  • Royal Decree 244/2019 applies to self-consumption
  • Royal Decree 1183/2020, of 29 December, on access and connection to electricity transmission and distribution networks.
