In accordance with Article 52(4)(i) of Act 24/2013, of 26 December, on the Electricity Sector, essential supplies are regarded as those domestic supplies where there is documentary proof, signed by medical personel, that electricity provides the power for medical equipment needed to keep someone alive. In any event, these supplies are restricted to physical persons living in their main home.
In order to demonstrate compliance with the said requirements you must provide the following documents:
- Valid medical certificate that confirms there is an electrical apparatus at the supply point which is essential for keeping someone alive.
- Residence certificate which verifies that the person the medical equipment is for lives at the said supply point.
