Sustainability

UFD has concluded the works to bury the high-voltage line in Monte Porreiro (Pontevedra), eliminating the visual impact of the electrical facilities and enabling the inhabitants to use their properties once again.

This initiative is in accordance with our company’s responsibility to sustainability and the environment and fulfils our commitment to the inhabitants of this Pontevedra neighbourhood.

The project involved a total investment of €1.5 million and entailed dismantling 10 high-voltage towers, removing 1,525 metres of overhead lines that crossed this urban area and burying 2,000 metres of line.
